A warm welcome is extended to Amateur Sports Clubs in the Hamilton area to apply for affiliated membership of Hamilton Sports Council.

Affiliated members may apply for grants up to a maximum of £200 and interest free loans up to the value of £500 to help with -

• Starting a club (fully constituted)
• Coach Education and attendance at courses beneficial to the club
• Courses for club officials (£100 max)
• Coaching Clinics
• Running special events and competitions
• Purchase of equipment used by the club (£250 max)

Affiliation also gives access to -

• Representation on the Executive Committee of the Sports Council
• Attendance at the Annual Sports Performers Awards
• Hamilton International Sports Trust which awards grants and scholarships
  to sports people form the Hamilton area who are of National &
  International calibre
• Competitions run by SALSC (Scottish Association of Local Sports Councils)
• The annual SALSC seminar
• The International Sport & Culture Association (ISCA) which promotes
  international exchanges in arts, culture & sport

How to Join -
Annual membership of Hamilton Sports Council (from 1st April to 31st March) costs only £5.
